Hello!  My name is Abby Childers.  This is my 10th year teaching kindergarten at Longfellow Elementary School.  I graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2014 with an elementary education degree.  I was born and raised in Marion and I love that I get to continue to be a Marion wildcat! 

I want to welcome you and your family to Longfellow.  I have a true passion for learning and it's such a joy to work with young children every day.  

During the summer of 2017 I married my best friend, Jake.  We have 1 kid, Cooper.  He is the center of our world!  During our spare time, my husband and I enjoy going to the movies and spending time with family.  We also love to visit Disney World, as it is one of our favorite places!
