    High School Counselor

    The successful candidate shall address the guidance and social well-being of students.  He/she shall provide information/counseling that helps students successfully graduate high school and plan for post-graduation. The successful candidate shall also provide information/counseling that helps students, parents and school staff work together to solve problems and communicate and provide referrals to other resources.


    The candidate must possess or be able to obtain a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and a Professional Educator License (PEL) for School Service Personnel with either an Endorsement as a School Counselor or School Social Worker (PreK-21).  Interested candidates may fill out an application on the district website (www.marionunit2.org).  Applications will be accepted until April 12, 2019.

    Junior High School Assistant Principal
    10-month position

    Minimum Qualifications:  Professional Educator Licensure (PEL) with a General Administrative Endorsement K-12
    The successful candidate will assist in day to day activities for middle school building with approximately 800 students and 55 plus faculty and staff members.  Daily duties will include the following: student supervision, including before and after school, event supervision, student discipline, parent communication, academic planning, community involvement activities, building and grounds oversight.  The ideal candidate will facilitate a school-wide culture of excellence and high student achievement, assist with teacher/staff evaluations, teacher coaching, professional development and provide a strong background in Professional Practices.   A
