My name is Terrill Owens.  I have lived in Marion my entire life.  My husband,  John,  and I have 2 boys that keep us very busy.  I am proud to teach in the Marion School District.  I have been a Reading Specialist at Jefferson for 27 years. I attended John A. Logan and completed my degree at Southern Illinois University. The thing I enjoy most about my job is seeing the growth that the children make from August to May.  It is so exciting!!  I really enjoy working with the small groups of children and being able to get to know them and be able to really focus on the individual skills that they need help with. One of my hobbies is reading and I love to be able to share my joy of reading with them.
