I am Ashleigh Maze, one of the Reading Specialist at Jefferson Elementary School. I began my teaching career in 2008 and completed my graduate work at SIUC in 2014. Prior to becoming a Reading Specialist on the Jefferson team, I had classroom experience teaching grades preschool up to fifth grade.
My husband and I live in the country with our three children. On the weekends you can find us chasing our small children, out riding on the four wheelers, or feeding the chickens and goats.
I am excited to share my love of reading with the students at Jefferson, and give the children I work with an opportunity to gain confidence in their reading abilities.
