Mrs. Maze received her Bachelor of Music Education Degree at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Upon graduation, Mrs. Maze taught band and choir as well as the music appreciation, music fundamentals, and American music courses at Rend Lake College. She also implemented a youth music program that featured the Kindermusik curriculum while at RLC. She spent several years at Mt. Vernon Twp.
