Founded: 1953
Purpose: To advance art training, to broaden interest, appreciation, and understanding of the Arts, and to participate in the functions of the school in which art can be used.
The activities of the Art Club of Marion High School includes participation in competitive events in the area of fundraising projects and community service projects, homecoming parade, holiday window painting for businesses and schools, BCHS Art Fest (Sand Sculpture Competition), annual MHS Art Show, and other Art related field trips.
Students will have the option of joining the State Affiliate for student artist's (The Rembrandt Society). Additional dues are collected from members wishing to belong to this part of the organization.
