Dear Washington Elementary Families,
My name is Ashleigh Benson and I am the Principal of Washington Elementary School. This is my seventh year serving as part of the administration team. I am so honored to be a part of Washington, which is known so well for its dedication to excellence, but more importantly, to children. Over the past seventeen years, I have worked as both a teacher and as an administrator, but I consider my most important job to be that of a child advocate. I look forward to spending a lot of time with your children and getting to know their personalities, interests and learning styles. I cannot wait to celebrate their successes and encourage them every day. I want them to know that they are valued and have a special place in our school community.
Once again, I am so very thankful to have the opportunity to be at Washington Elementary. I want to encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities to actively engage in the life of your child at school. We welcome your participation and support throughout the year.
