IMRF Early Retirement

At the June 16, 2026, Board of Education meeting, the Board of Education passed an IMRF Early Retirement Incentive (ERI).  Should you elect to retire under the IMRF ERI, the window is 6/30/2027 to 6/30/2028.  This will allow you to increase your age, if you are under 60, by up to five years and to purchase up to five years of membership.  The Board also approved paying the Employee's portion of the IMRF ERI.
