The Adams School Media Center is staffed by Mrs. Tracy Webb and supervised by Roxanne Price (Marion Unit 2 Elementary Media Specialist).
The Adams School library has approximately 6200 books for the students (Pre-K-8) plus reference materials and magazines. The library's fiction collection includes not only current series (Magic Treehouse, Junie B. Jones, Lemony Snicket) but, also, classics (Mark Twain, Robert Louis Stevenson, C. S. Lewis, T.R.R. Tolkien, Dr. Seuss). It has non-fiction books that cover all major topics from The First Book of Facts (001.4W) to All About the Arctic and Antarctic (998C).
The library houses the school's video collection. We have approximately 300 videos that may be used by the teachers to supplement the curriculum of the school.
Grades 4-8 participate in the Accelerated Reader Program, where the students are given a selection of books that they may read and then take a test on the computer to evaluate reading comprehension. Adams School has 1060 books and tests dedicated to this program ranging in reading level from 1.4 to 13.5.
