Can Caravan Each November the students at Longfellow collect canned goods for the Marion Ministerial Alliance. These items are used as a local food pantry/soup kitchen.
Jump Rope for Heart American Heart Association sponsors a Jump Rope for Heart event in February. The students collect donations for participating in the event. This money helps support heart research.
Relay for Life The staff and faculty at Longfellow School participate annually in the local Relay for Life event held in Marion. Each participant raises money to be used for cancer research and then walks from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. on the designated night. This event occurs in June each year.
