![]() Creal Springs School students participate in many special events and activities throughout the school year. These special events include:
Pioneer Day was started in 1991 as a day that would help students learn about pioneer times. This event takes place in even years. Thanksgiving Family Dinner was started in 2003 as an opportunity for the school and community to come together for a Thanksgiving feast. This event occurs in odd years. Homecoming court and queen are selected to officially kick off the start of the sports season. Christmas Program occurs every year with most of the school’s students participating. 8th Grade Graduation celebrates the graduating class as they finish their school years at Creal Springs School. Honors Day is a day set aside at the end of the school year to honor those students in grades 4-8 who have done well in their class work. Field Day is a district-wide 5th/6th grade track and field event held in the spring of every school year. Intramural Track Meet is a 6th-8th grade track meet held at the end of the school year. Music Festival is held at Marion High School for 4th-5th Graders. Vocal Festival is a 6th-8th grade choir event that takes place at Southeastern Community College in Harrisburg. Many school districts participate.
