Q |
Are MySpace, Flicker, Facebook, and similar sites O.K. to get on at school? |

Q |
Why do you have all these rules? |
 |
A |
The rules are there for good reason: Protection. We want to protect our computers and network, but most imprortantly we want to protect our students.
The questions above highlight types of sites and electronic activities that can have serious consequences for children if they are not supervised properly. Predators, explicit content, and violence are many times prevalant on these types of sites. We just want to try and prevent as much harm as we can. |

There are serious consequences if you misuse your computer PRIVILEDGES. You could be banned from computer usage your entire time at MJHS; you could recieve suspensions or detentions; and/or you could recieve other punnishments.
Remember being able to use a computer at school is a PRIVILEDGE not a RIGHT!
Think about what you are about to do when you are using a computer. Is what you are about to do going to get you in trouble? If it is, then DON'T DO IT! |
